While we're on the subject of living as our highest selves. Here are some things you can incorporate into your daily routine to help you get there.
Exercise - Movement does wonders for the mind and body - and there's so much to choose from. Pick something you enjoy so you stay consistent.
Get out in nature - Really soak up your surroundings by doing a mental check in with your senses when out walking. Say everything you can see, hear, feel, touch & taste in the present moment.
Eat well - Eat a wholefood diet. Keep sugar and processed food to a minimum at most.
Drink water - Stay hydrated always and avoid brain fog and tiredness. Your skin will thank you also.
Say 3 positives in the am & pm - You may think you haven't had the best day but you will be surprised what good things have happened when you look back and reflect. Saying 3 positives in the morning also helps set a positive tone for the day.
Positive affirmations - Scientific prayer designed to promote positive thoughts, feelings and attitudes. 'Everything is working out in my favour' is a favourite of ours.
Meditation - Learn to quieten your mind and understand that you are not your thoughts. Let them come, let them go.
Hypnotherapy - Unlearn bad habits and reprogram your brain to think differently through the power of hypnosis.
EFT tapping - Also known as 'emotional freedom technique'. Tap pressure points within your body to reset your nervous system. Especially useful in times of panic or emotional distress.
