Environment & Social Compliance

Ethical Manufacturing & Sustainable Supply Chain

At ATIA Active, sustainability, ethical manufacturing, and responsible sourcing are important. The founders are committed to ensuring that our manufacturing partners meet our Standards of Engagement, which ask for certification of compliance with local and national legislation, international labour standards, environmental regulations, and ethical business practices. As a sustainable activewear brand, we recognise that consumers increasingly expect transparency, accountability, and measurable environmental and social responsibility throughout the supply chain. We are proud to work with manufacturers and suppliers who share ATIA Active's commitment to ethical production, worker welfare, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.

Certified Sustainable Manufacturing

In addition to complying with all legal requirements in their country of operation, our manufacturing partners are encouraged to maintain internationally recognised sustainability and social compliance certifications, including:

Global Recycled Standard (GRS)

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) verifies recycled content within products and promotes responsible environmental, social, and chemical management practices. GRS certification helps ensure the integrity of recycled materials used in sustainable apparel and activewear production.

Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA)

SMETA is one of the world's leading ethical trade audit frameworks. It evaluates labour standards, health and safety, environmental performance, and business ethics, helping to promote fair working conditions and responsible supply chain management.

International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-REC)

I-REC certification supports the tracking and verification of renewable energy consumption. By encouraging the use of renewable energy within manufacturing facilities, I-REC contributes to lower carbon emissions and a more sustainable production process.

Sustainable Logistics & Carbon Accountability

Responsible sourcing extends beyond manufacturing. ATIA Active partners with DHL Group as our preferred international logistics provider, leveraging industry-leading initiatives in carbon tracking, sustainable transport operations, supplier compliance, and social responsibility.

Through our logistics partnerships and supply chain management practices, as well as our internal planning processes, we seek opportunities to reduce environmental impact, improve operational efficiency, and support a more sustainable global apparel industry.

Our Commitment

By working with certified suppliers and trusted logistics partners, we strive to deliver high-quality products while supporting environmental sustainability, fair labour practices, and long-term positive change across the apparel industry.
